This is an archive of emblems that I design as an ongoing personal project.

Embroidered patches for space missions have been around since the early days of human spaceflight. They serve as a symbol of human curiosity, innovation and as a way to honor these ambitious projects.

The Deep Space Network (DSN) is a global system of large radio antennas. It is one of the most essential components of NASA’s space exploration infrastructure.

The network enables two-way communication with spacecrafts on interplanetary missions like Voyager 1 & 2, the Mars rovers or the James Webb Space Telescope. Transmitting and receiving data across distances of billions of kilometers.

Distributed around the globe in Australia (Canberra), the United States (Goldstone) and Spain (Madrid), the stations form a triangle that ensures that at least one station always maintains line-of-sight contact no matter where Earth is in its rotation.
